Floyd is a graduate of Tarleton State University with a degree in Business. He grew up in the town of DeLeon, Texas located in Comanche County. Floyd was raised in the farming and ranching business and is still active in cattle ranching. He is married with two children, who attend school in Stephenville. Floyd and his family are active members at Rocky Point Baptist Church. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his family and just about anything outdoors. He has been living in Stephenville since 1983.
